The Land of the Rising Sun (2015)

"The Land of the Rising Sun" is my personal timelapse short-film. It was taken during my second solo-trip to Japan. I decided not to go to popular main cities throughout my trip (although, I did went to Tokyo on the last three days) as I believe that there are more to see in the not-so popular prefectures in Japan.

The places I mainly visited were Gifu, Takayama, Himeji, Hamamamatsu and Tokyo. There were also other places I have been but did not have much time to shoot due to the time constraint (more information of the names of the places that is shot in the timelapse in the description of the video).

The timelapse was shot with a Canon DSLR 600D (more information on camera gear in the description of the video). The timelapses consists of many RAW still-frames compiled together.

The Past, the Present and The Future (2015)

"The Past, the Present and the Future" is a short-film, done by Digital Visual Effects Ngee Ann Polytechnic students. During the first year, my team and I was tasked to write, film and direct a short-film that had to be done outside Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

The story revolves around a guy who is dwelling on the past. He could not forget about the time that he spent with her. However, ever since that accident, he is hurt and lonely. But she remains near him, wishing that he could move on to stop the pain. What will we he do? What will the future bring?

Never forget your friend's birthday - 2012

"Never forget your friend's birthday" is a short-film done by me and a group of friends, back then during Secondary School. We used to call our team, "TwoMOneC" which stands for "two malay, one chinese". This is NOT discrimination, just a fact that our team really consists of me and my two malay friends.

Story wise, it is based on a true story where another malay friend of mine whom at that time, never celebrated his birthday for quite awhile. So in the film, the guy decides to celebrate his birthday alone, maybe accepting that he is alone and tries to find ways to make him forget about it. But, eventually, it took a drastic turn...
